Job Description: Software Tester (Fresher)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester (Fresher) to join our quality assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet defined requirements and deliver a high-quality user experience. Responsibilities include understanding project specifications, preparing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and documenting test results clearly. The tester will work closely with developers and senior QA members to verify fixes and support regression testing.

Freshers should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC/STLC, and types of testing such as manual, functional, regression, and smoke testing. Knowledge of test case design, defect life cycle, and basic SQL or automation tools is an added advantage. Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential.
