Role Overview

We’re looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure

cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You’ll work closely with application teams, DevOps, and

security to build reliable cloud environments and automate everything that can be automated.

Responsibilities

 Design and deploy cloud infrastructure (VNets, VMs, storage, load balancers) on Microsoft

Azure

 Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

 Configure identity, access control, and security using Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, NSGs, and

private endpoints

 Monitor, log, and troubleshoot production workloads using Azure Monitor and Log

Analytics

 Design high availability and disaster recovery solutions (zones, geo-replication, backups)

 Optimize performance and cost (right-sizing, reservations, budgets)

 Support cloud migrations and modernization initiatives

 Collaborate with SRE, security, and app teams to enforce best practices

Required Skills

 Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (compute, networking, storage)

 CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

 Scripting with PowerShell and/or Bash

 Networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, firewalls, private connectivity)

 Cloud security best practices (least privilege, encryption, key management)

 Monitoring and incident response in production environments

Nice-to-Have

 Load Balancers, API Gateway, Containers C Kubernetes with Azure Kubernetes Service

 Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions

 Observability with Application Insights

 Experience with Azure SQL Database or managed data services

 Cloud certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305)
