Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA Lead to help ensure our software meets the highest quality standards before it reaches our users.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and executing test cases for web, desktop, and API-based applications.
• Perform manual/automated testing to identify bugs and usability issues.
• Log defects clearly with proper steps to reproduce and expected vs actual results.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Learn and apply testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Assist in regression, smoke, and sanity testing during release cycles.
• Collaborate with the team to improve test coverage and test processes.
• Document test results and create QA reports.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with manual testing concepts, bug reporting, and test case writing.
• Strong attention to detail and a logical mindset.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a team environment

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to any bug tracking tool (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger (for API testing).
• Basic knowledge of SQL or database testing.
• Understanding of test automation or scripting is a plus.

Must Have:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, Certification in software testing.
