Job Summary
Summary: The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing the organization’s software, hardware, and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Manage network security — implement firewalls, antivirus, and data protection measures.
Troubleshoot system and network problems; diagnose and resolve hardware or software faults.
Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
Ensure data backup and disaster recovery systems are up to date.
Maintain asset inventory and IT documentation.
Provide technical support to staff through in-person, phone, or remote assistance.
Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT equipment and support.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection regulations.
