      Job Description – Desktop Support Engineer (L2)

      Provide L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.

      Handle escalations from L1 support and ensure timely closure of incidents as per SLAs.

      Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and enterprise applications.

      Diagnose and resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity issues.

      Coordinate with L3 teams and external vendors for complex or unresolved issues.

      Maintain accurate asset inventory, update documentation, and ensure proper tracking of IT resources.

      Log, track, and update service requests in the ticketing system.

      Install, configure, and troubleshoot Outlook, MS Office, and printers.

      Use basic domain server knowledge for user account and system management tasks.

      Provide effective remote support for users across locations.

      Apply working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

      Ensure consistent adherence to IT processes, policies, and security guidelines.

      Work in rotational shifts with timings 6 AM–2 PM and 2 PM–10 PM.
