Hardware Engineer

Job Overview

Mechanical Engineer job involves researching, designing, developing, and testing mechanical and thermal devices, from engines and tools to HVAC systems and robotics, applying physics and math to solve problems, creating CAD designs, overseeing manufacturing, and ensuring product performance, efficiency, and safety, often working in teams to bring concepts to functional products. Key duties include analyzing problems, designing solutions, building prototypes, testing, optimizing designs, and managing projects from concept to production. 

Core Responsibilities

• Prototyping & Testing: Develop and rigorously test prototypes to validate designs and gather feedback.

• Manufacturing Oversight: Supervise production to ensure designs meet specifications and quality standards.

• Problem Solving: Diagnose equipment failures and improve existing systems for better performance or efficiency.

• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (electrical, manufacturing, QA).

• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, specifications, and user manuals. 

• Design & Development: Create blueprints and models for mechanical systems, components, and machinery using CAD software.
• Analysis & Simulation: Use physics and math to analyze problems and simulate performance (thermal, structural, fluid)
