Junior QA Engineer (Python)Full-time

Job description:

As a Junior QA Engineer , you will work closely with product managers, developers, and senior QA engineers to test and validate critical features in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. you'll be responsible for writing and executing manual and automated test cases, primarily using Python-based tools, to ensure our applications meet high standards for quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain automated test scripts using Python (PyTest, Selenium, etc)
• Execute functional, regression, and integration tests for web and mobile platforms
• Validate financial transactions, calculations, and workflows
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria
• Identify and document bugs, and verify fixes
• Participate in test planning, sprint reviews, and product demos

Required Qualifications:

• bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of Python and its use in testing (eg, PyTest, unit testing, data validation)
• Familiarity with QA methodologies and tools (manual + automated)
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or API testing (eg, Postman, requests, REST APIs)
• Familiarity with test management tools (eg, ADO, Jira)
• Knowledge of SQL and experience validating data across systems
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (eg, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
