Job Description: Software Tester (Fresher)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Tester (Fresher) to join our quality assurance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to start their career in software testing and quality assurance, ensuring that applications meet high standards of functionality, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Understand software requirements and test scenarios

Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts

Identify, document, and track software defects

Perform manual testing on web and/or mobile applications

Support regression, functional, and basic performance testing

Work closely with developers to resolve identified issues

Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC

Familiarity with manual testing techniques

Understanding of defect life cycle and testing methodologies

Basic knowledge of SQL and web technologies is an advantage

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

Good communication and teamwork skills

Fresh graduates with academic projects or internship exposure in software testing are encouraged to apply.
