Project Manager for ASUS

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Project Ownership & to be Techno-commercial Candidate

 Overall accountability for production, quality, delivery, and profitability.

 Drive operational excellence across NB MBD & VGA repair lines.

2. Production & Resource Management

 Strategic manpower planning aligned to volume forecast.

 Ensure production target achievement with optimized resource utilization.

 Control WIP, aging inventory, and ensure strict TAT compliance.

3. NPI & Technical Program Leadership

 Lead NPI execution for new ASUS NB MBD and VGA models.

 Ensure smooth ramp-up, yield stabilization, and process standardization.

 Monitor BGA and SMD critical component usage trends and control variance.

4. Cost & Profitability Control

 Drive repair cost optimization initiatives.

5. Supply Chain & Material Coordination

 Proactively follow up with customer for material supply to avoid production loss.

 Monitor BGA usage and its availability.

 Coordinate with stores to prevent shortages inventory.

6. Customer Management (Taiwan)

 Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Taiwanese customer.

 Prepare KPI Report and Lead weekly review calls.

 Present production, quality, yield, and improvement reports.

 Ensure timely closure of customer action points.

7. Quality & Continuous Improvement

 Lead RCA and CAPA for field returns and repeat failures.

 Drive SLA adherence and quality performance improvement.

 Implement process control and continuous improvement initiatives.

8. Leadership & Governance

 Lead, mentor, and develop engineering and shop-floor teams.

 Ensure discipline, performance tracking, and skill enhancement.

 Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
