L1/L2 Engineer

Job Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced L2 Engineer / Team Leader to manage and

execute refurbishment operations for IT assets. The candidate will handle advanced

troubleshooting, lead a team of L1 engineers, and ensure quality standards and

productivity targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

 Perform advanced-level troubleshooting and repair of laptops, desktops, and IT

hardware

 Diagnose complex hardware issues (motherboard, chipset, power issues, etc.)

 Supervise and guide L1 engineers in daily operations

 Allocate tasks and monitor team performance and productivity

 Ensure proper refurbishment processes (testing, repair, cleaning, packaging)

 Maintain quality control and ensure zero-defect dispatch

 Manage inventory of spare parts and coordinate with procurement

 Prepare daily/weekly reports (production, defects, turnaround time)

 Handle escalations and provide timely resolution

 Ensure compliance with data wiping and security standards

Required Skills:

 Strong knowledge of computer hardware troubleshooting (Laptop/Desktop)

 Experience in chip-level/basic board-level diagnosis (preferred)

 Good understanding of OS installation, imaging, and drivers

 Knowledge of tools like diagnostics software, BIOS, firmware updates

 Team handling and leadership skills

 Basic knowledge of Excel/reporting

Preferred Skills:

 Experience in refurbishment industry or service centers

 Knowledge of asset lifecycle management

 Exposure to ERP/Inventory tools
