Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PL/SQL Developer (Fresher) to join our technology team in the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of PL/SQL, database design, and a keen interest in understanding complex business processes in insurance. You will work closely with senior developers and business analysts to support data-driven applications and backend development for insurance products and workflows.
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL concepts
• Knowledge of database objects like tables, views, triggers, procedures, packages, and functions
• Ability to write and optimize PL/SQL queries
• Basic understanding of relational database design and normalization
• Knowledge of data manipulation (DML/DDL) operations
• Exposure to performance tuning (preferred)
Mandatory Skills:
• SQL, PL/SQL
• Logical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements
Good to Have Skills:
• Basic understanding of the Insurance domain (life/general)
• Exposure to Agile methodology or SDLC processes
• Familiarity with tools like Toad, SQL Developer, or similar
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Awareness of data migration or ETL concepts
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Certification in Oracle PL/SQL or database development (preferred but not mandatory)
