Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Network Engineer (Fresher) to join our IT infrastructure team. The candidate will assist in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure smooth and secure operations. This role is ideal for individuals with basic networking knowledge and a strong interest in network administration and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Monitor network performance and identify issues.
• Troubleshoot basic network problems and provide timely support to internal users.
• Support in managing LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks.
• Assist in implementing network security measures and best practices.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
• Work closely with the IT team to support ongoing infrastructure projects.

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Subnetting).
• Knowledge of network devices like routers, switches, and access points.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (added advantage).
• Good understanding of OSI model.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and connectivity issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
