JD & Role & Responsibilities of Junior Lecturer

• Chapter Flow/ Schedule: Understand the weekly schedules and flow of topics. Understand the syllabus for weekly tests or mock tests and be prepared.

Be familiar with the work assigned to students to study or practice. Check with student homework and subject teachers about the topics to be prepared. Solve the Telugu academy textbooks, material, and mocks regularly.

• Student Handling: Ensure students are focused and practicing properly in study hours, the required topics. If any students have missed classes due to health or other reasons, follow up on their learning. Solve their doubts relevant to the topic.

Ensure student flow near doubts is smooth.

• Motivate the students to complete their homework in specific subjects at specific times. For example: Daily class homework before dinner, and other exam/ assignment preparation post dinner.

• Be available during study hours (weekdays and weekends)

• Check if they are doing their assignments regularly.

• Check their notes for completeness.

• Paper corrections/assignment corrections as required

• Help the students realize how each hour is spent by making them write. Example: 6:30 to 7:30 pm- Maths 1B: Functions: 5 theorems or LAQs practiced.

The amount of time spent on LAQs is different from VSAQs. Do not check superficially.

• Interact with the faculty, and wardens and understand your students. Their reading styles, and academic performance.

• Review weekly with subject teachers and HODs at least. Periodic reviews will happen with the academic director

• Motivate students on their marks.

• Handle students carefully and smoothly.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education with a specialization in mathematics, or equivalent.

• A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Organized, flexible disposition.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills
