About this Course
The primary goal of the course is to educate staff on the scope, implications and enforcement mechanisms of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024. It seeks to:
- Promote awareness of unfair practices such as question paper leaks, tampering with answer sheets or computer systems and collusion among participants.
- Clarify roles and responsibilities of individuals and institutions involved in public examinations including UPSC, SSC, RRBs, IBPS, NTA, and other notified authorities.
- Highlight legal liabilities and penalties for non-compliance or involvement in malpractice. Instill ethical conduct through pledges and assessments embedded in the course modules.
- Ensure operational readiness by guiding learners through structured content, interactive assessments and mandatory completion checkpoints.
The course uses interactive learning methodologies, designed to ensure both awareness and compliance. The following elements are embedded throughout the product:
- SCORM-based Learning Modules: These modules form the backbone of the course. They include:
- Voiceover-guided slides explaining sections of the Act.
- Interactive tabs that change colour upon engagement, guiding learners through content.
- Embedded videos, such as the "Exam Functionaries Pledge" to reinforce ethical conduct.
- Final Assessment:
- A mandatory SCORM-based quiz evaluates learners’ understanding of the Act, its implications, and consequences. Completion of this Final Assessment is required to finish the course.
