About the Course

Tabla Guru by Pt. Yogesh Samsi - Beginners (Long Term) is the first step in your journey of learning Tabla or the Indian drums.

The Beginners Course comprises instructional videos and practice exercises. You can learn anywhere and at any time, and pace your learning the way you want to progress. This course will equip you with the fundamental understanding and techniques of playing Tabla. It will help you build a strong foundation to take the next few steps in learning the instrument.

On completion of this course, you will be aware of fundamental techniques of playing Tabla and based on your practice, you will be able to play basic syllables and tala on Tabla. Once you gain confidence and are able to play the syllables assigned to you in the Beginners Course, you will be ready to take up the Intermediate Course in order to delve deep into learning Tabla.
